Words That Amuse Me

Just a short list of the words I can think of for now. It may grow...

Deplane - It amuses me, for some reason, that we have a dedicated word for the act of getting off of an aircraft.

Rubbish bin - Far superior to "garbage can". Must be pronounced with a British accent.

Valchives - Definition: those little stringy things you find inside oranges and other citrus fruit. Trust me.

...along with most of the words used in Bulbous Bouffant

Did you know that this blog is the third and fourth result you get when you search "valchive" on Google, and that Mozambique 2010 stuff is also pretty high on the list? It's almost like you and A Kernel of Wheat have got a valchive monopoly.

(No, I didn't come here via "valchive," I got here via "kid radd...")

I actually have a hard time believing that it turns out I'm not the only member of the intersection of the set of people who have heard of Kid Radd and the set of people who have heard of valchives.
